Design Process
As a direct sales company, Perfectly Posh has a unique cart and checkout flow which requires users to select a Consultant in order to checkout. Extensive research, multiple iterations, prototyping, and user testing was implemented to bring the new cart experience to life.

Tools
Even in this technology driven industry with an app for everything, nothing beats pen and paper. It literally brings our thoughts and ideas into tangible and workable substances, perfect for collaboration.
Pen And Paper
Post-Its and notebooks are used for ideas, problems, solutions, and insights. These combine and turn into multiple sketches and quick iterations for how everything can flow and be displayed.
INVISION
Throughout wireframing and hi-fidelity designs, prototypes are created to provide testing UX and user flows.
SKETCH
Sketches on paper are converted into wireframes on Sketch. Wireframing to hi-fidelity designs continue to be worked on Sketch. It is an incredible software with fantastic plug-ins that allow fast and precise designs that translate great for developers.
Evernote
Evernote is my go-to note taking app because of it's sharing capabilities essential for seamless collaboration.
Mobile First
Research shows that users are increasingly making purchases on their phones and tablets. The cart was designed mobile-first and fluid responsive design to ensure that if a user switches to a different device or desktop, the experience is the same, so there will be no confusion and it provides a seamless checkout process.
Choosing a Consultant as a new user is complicated, but we make it clear and fun so users can know with ease that they selected the right one for them.
